Dayton International Airport, formerly Dayton Municipal Airport and James M. Cox-Dayton Municipal Airport, is 10 miles north of downtown Dayton, in Montgomery County, Ohio, United States. The airport is in an exclave of the city of Dayton not contiguous with the rest of the city

Located near the “Crossroads of the America” – Interstates 70 and 75, the Dayton International Airport provides air service to meet the needs of travelers to and from Southwest Ohio.

Value parking begins at $5/day in Economy Lot

Park at the airport to save time and money. Dayton International Airport has parking options to fit every need and budget. With no hidden fees, parking at the airport is easier to and through.

Enjoy free parking and WIFi in the Cell Phone Lot. Parking is free while you monitor the Flight Information Screen or wait for a call from arriving passengers. Vehicles may not be left unattended in the Cell Phone Lot.

 

Customers with an official disabled license plate or permit prominently displayed will receive the lowest hourly/daily parking rates available in each lot. Handicap parking spaces are available near the elevators in the Garage, in the first row of the Short Term Lot and near shuttle pick-up areas in the Economy Lot. Handicap parking is not designated in the Long Term Lot. All DAYrider courtesy shuttles are lift-equipped.

FEDERAL REGULATIONS PROHIBIT PARKING IN FRONT OF THE TERMINAL BUILDING UNLESS YOU ARE ACTIVELY LOADING OR UNLOADING.

The Dayton Airport has the following approved Ground Transportation options available to serve you. From taxis, to shuttles and rental cars, the airport has a broad range of solutions to help you find the right fit for your travel needs.

Passengers with disabilities are a priority to us. We offer the following services to make your travel experience easy to and through.

  • Handicapped parking spaces available in all of our parking structures.
  • Complimentary DAYrider Shuttle buses are wheelchair accessible.
  • The Terminal entrance curb is handicapped accessible at all points, including the 3 walkway entrances into the Terminal.
  • Rental Cars include a variety of wheelchair accessible vehicles, please make sure to request at the time of your reservation.
  • Taxicab services also provide wheelchair accessible vehicles, please make sure to contact the operator Dayton Express directly for your request.
  • Shuttles for Hotels/Motels are wheelchair accessible.

Services

The Dayton International Airport offers free wireless internet service throughout the Terminal Building. You can now access the internet using your wireless-ready handheld devices by following these simple directions:

  • Select the Fly DAY Public wireless network and connect. (SSID / Service Set Identifier is “public”)
  • Ensure that encryption is turned off as this is an open network connection. This includes all authentication methods (WEP, WAP, etc.).
  • Once connected, open a web browser and surf freely or launch your VPN (virtual private network) client to connect to work.

Situated at the crossroads of America’s major transportation routes: I-70 and I-75, the Dayton International Airport has more than 600 acres of land readily available for mixed-use development.

Airport Administration: Mon-Fri: 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

Airport Police: 24/7

Aircraft Rescue & Fire Fighting (ARFF): 24/7

Lost & Found: Mon-Fri: 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

Security Screening Checkpoint (TSA): 4 a.m.–8 p.m. (hours may vary depending upon flight departure schedules)

Airline Ticket & Baggage Counters: Hours vary by airline company.

Parking Garages: 24/7

Business Travelers Center: Mon-Fri: 8 a.m.–3 p.m. • Sat & Sun Closed

Visitor Information & Military Welcome Center: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
